1. Monthly maintenance plans
1.1 How to cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time in two ways:
- From your client dashboard, using the "Manage subscription" button, which opens the Stripe customer portal.
- By emailing us at otoniel@ocswebs.com from the email address linked to your account.
1.2 When cancellation takes effect
Cancellation applies at the end of the current monthly period. Until then, you keep all the services in your plan and no further charges are made. There is no minimum term and no cancellation penalty.
1.3 Monthly fee refunds
Monthly fees already charged are not prorated or refunded for the remaining days of the current period, since the service stays available until the period ends. Unused hours of changes included in your plan are not refunded either.
Exceptions: we will refund your last monthly fee if you were charged by mistake after canceling, if you were charged twice, or if we were unable to provide your plan's services that month for reasons on our side.
1.4 Changing plans
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan from the customer portal. Stripe automatically calculates the prorated difference and applies it to your next invoice.
2. Custom projects
Custom projects are paid with a deposit of 50% of the base price before work begins, and the balance (including add-ons) on delivery. What is refunded depends on when the project is canceled:
| When it's canceled | Refund |
|---|---|
| Before work begins | Your deposit is refunded, minus 10% of the project's base price as a processing and scheduling fee. |
| While the project is in progress | The deposit is not refunded, since it covers the work completed and the time reserved. The final payment is not charged, unless the work completed exceeds the deposit and we agree otherwise in writing. |
| After the project is delivered | No refund, and the final payment is due. Technical errors caused by our work are fixed at no cost for 30 days after delivery. |
| Project abandoned by the client (60 days without response) | The deposit is not refunded, as described in our Terms of Service. |
Add-ons delivered separately, such as a logo or copywriting, are not refundable once approved by the client.
2.1 Final payment
The final payment (the remaining 50% of the base price plus any add-ons) is charged when we deliver the finished project for your review, and must be paid within 7 days. We publish the website on your domain and hand over your access as soon as we receive it.
2.2 Cancellation by us
If we are unable to continue the project for reasons on our side, we will refund the full amount for any work not delivered.
3. How to request a refund
- Email us at otoniel@ocswebs.com from the email address linked to your account or payment.
- Tell us the service, the date of the charge and the reason for your request.
- We will reply within 5 business days with our decision and, if applicable, the amount to be refunded.
4. Refund timing and method
Approved refunds are processed through Stripe to the same payment method you used. Once processed, the money usually appears in your account within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
For partial refunds, the processing fee Stripe charged us for the original transaction may be deducted from the amount refunded, unless the refund is due to our mistake.
5. Failed payments and disputes
If a subscription charge fails, Stripe will automatically retry the payment and notify you by email. If the payment isn't completed within 14 days, we may suspend your plan's services until it is resolved.
If you don't recognize a charge, please email us before opening a dispute with your bank. We can usually resolve it sooner and faster that way.
